EnrichHER: What is the mission of Michelle Norwood Weddings?
Michelle Norwood: Our Mission: We are all about effortless and natural style. Our mission is to create events that feel elegant but not fussy, unique but not contrived and timeless and always personal.
EnrichHER: How would you describe your ideal clientele?
Michelle: Our dream client are stylish, loves to travel and experience other cultures, open-minded and gracious with elevated tastes and nothing to prove. These clients allow us a glimpse into their lives – from their closets to Instagram and Pinterest pages, so we can design every detail with their unique tastes in mind. These clients trusts our aesthetics, judgement and recommendations.
EnrichHER: What do you love most about your work?
Michelle: Working with couples during the happiest time in their lives and designing spaces that they love.
EnrichHER: What's the biggest challenge you have in your business and how are you overcoming those challenges?
Michelle: What things really cost and Client expectations. I truly wish Instagram and Pinterest showed price tags, lol. I am able to overcome these challenges by educating and managing client expectations.
EnrichHER: What made you apply to EnrichHER?
Michelle: I was very impressed with the mission of the program and wanted to be apart of it.
EnrichHER: What are you most excited about for your business in 2019?
Michelle: Growth, I have been in business for 4 years and the amount of growth is shocking yet amazing.
EnrichHER: What do you want people to know about you?
Michelle: I took a huge risk and the rewards have been more than I could have ever expected. At the age of 33, I decided that I wanted to be in charge of my life in every aspect. With that, I resigned from my job after 12 years in the corporate world and started my business. I stepped out on faith and with hard work, determination and dedication, I have grown my business to a place I imagined it would be in 10 years. I am a mother, self proclaimed food critic, lover of horses, Netflix movie binge watcher and caramel lover.
